A Letter from Ms. M

To all volunteers and anyone else God has working on my house,

I would like to thank each and every one of you for working so hard to make my home a better place to live in. I am soooo very proud of the work you all have done and I can't wait to get back home. I am praying for each of you, so be expecting a great reward from God for all your kindness.

Every now and then we are blessed with clients like Ms. M who remind us of the good there is in the world. Every volunteer group that worked on her house felt her warmth the moment they met her– especially when she brought by homemade goodies. It was bittersweet to close her case last week, but we know we have a lifelong friend and champion in this remarkable woman.

Thank you Episcopal High School, AmeriCorps NCCC Team Earth 1, Bob, Lisa, Sam, and every other volunteer who has worked on Ms. M’s home.
